
A cleric identified as Friday Okeneji has been reportedly sentenced to two years prison.
New Telegraph gathered that Friday was sentenced to prison by the Akure Magistrate Court for stealing chemical substances worth N130,000.
The convict, a presiding pastor of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Iwaro Oka Akoko, Ondo State, committed the crime on July 2, according to the police.
Delivering the judgement, Magistrate Damilola Sekoni convicted Okeneji on two count charges of breaking and entering and theft

The convict was given the option of paying a N100, 000 fine by the magistrate.
Sekoni, who encouraged the convict to turn a new leaf, advised him to imbibe the true Christian characteristics of hard work and prayerfulness as exemplified by New Testament Christians in the Bible.
The convict, who pleaded guilty, explained that he had no source of income and needed to raise N150,000 for his mother’s burial in August.
