Nigeria At 64: Ondo PDP Candidate Urges Unity In Nigeria, Promises Transformation

The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the November 16 governorship election in Ondo State, Hon Agboola Ajayi has expressed his belief in Nigeria despite the various challenges bedeviling the nation

In his letter to the people of the state to mark the 64th independent anniversary, Ajayi expressed his commitment to the oneness of Nigeria, where fairness, equality, and justice reign supreme. Every citizen, regardless of background or tribe, deserves a level playing field to thrive.

The former Deputy Governor urged the citizens of the state to exercise their franchise and elect a government that truly represents their interests.

Ajayi reeled out his vision for the state, which included free and quality education up to the secondary school level, empowering the youth for a brighter future, providing free health services for the children and elderly, and ensuring their well-being and dignity.

Others, he said include infrastructural development, transforming the state’s infrastructure to drive growth and progress, and unlocking enormous wealth through innovative farming practices and initiatives.

Ajayi said as the nation strives for a better tomorrow, he implore them to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and vigilant. He advised the electorate to raise their flag, embracing diversity and promoting unity.
