NGO Laments Emigration Among Nigerian Youths

Launches Gold in Nigeria initiative

A Non Governmental Organisation(NGO) Britester Events and project management has intensified efforts to reduced the high rate of emigration among Nigerian Youths.

In a bid to accomplish this, Britester Events and Project Management, a leading event planning Company with seven years track record in delivering high impact projects launches “Gold In Nigeria” Initiative.

The mission and vision of the project according to the convener, Bamigboye Adeoluwa is to reduce talent emigration, brain drain plaguing Nigeria.

New Telegraph reports that Emigration has been a long pressing issue in Nigeria with many of the country’s brightest minds seeking opportunities abroad.

Adeoluwa disclosed that Gold In Nigeria seeks to address the pressing need by creating a supportive ecosystem that encourages talented individuals, motivate and give national recognition to them all in a bid to continue to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development.

Adeoluwa hinted that the initiative will provide access to mentorship programs, collaborative opportunities, investment and funding alongside industry specific training and development.

The founder of GIN said: “Gold In Nigeria is a call to action for the nation’s youth.

“We believe strongly that by empowering them to take charge of their careers and providing the necessary resources and support, we can reverse and reduce the trend of emigration and build a brighter future for Nigeria.”

“By addressing one of the root causes of emigration, GIN aims to reduce the number of talented Nigerians leaving the country”.

According to the convener, it will also help to increase the nation’s economic growth and competitiveness and foster a sense of community and belonging among Nigerian youth.

Adeoluwa, however, called on the general public to join them in ground breaking Initiative, saying together “we will build a Nigeria where talent thrives”.
