The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla yesterday presented a 2 bedroom semi-detached bungalow building to the widow of slain personnel, Seaman MK Suleiman who died recently in Niger State. The development was conveyed in a statement issued yesterday by the Director of Information (DINFO), for the Nigerian Navy, Commodore Adams –Aliu.
In the statement obtained by Saturday Telegraph, Adams – Aliu stated that until his death, the deceased died while being a part of the interventionist operation of the force tagged WHIRL STROKE last year in Niger State. According to the naval spokesman, the Chief of Naval Staff was represented at the presentation ceremonies by the Director Veteran Affairs, Rear Admiral Mohammed Yakubu Dahiru who stated that such initiatives will be sustained to ensure that no one in the force is left behind.
“He was a leading Regulator, personnel of the Nigerian Navy and Seaman at Navy Estate Karshi Abuja,who sacrificed his life in service to the nation under the Operation WHIRL STROKE last year in Niger state.
