
Indications emerged last night that the Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, may have served dethroned emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero, a quit notice to immediately vacate the Nasarawa palace where he is currently staying. It was learnt that the governor said he wanted to demolish the dilapidated parts of the property for reconstruction and renovation.
A statement issued yesterday by the Kano State Government expressed dismay that Bayero was still “squatting” at the Nasarawa palace, saying it was not safe for him to continue to live there. Recall that Governor Abba Yusuf had served dethroned emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero, a quit notice to immediately vacate the Nasarawa palace where he is currently staying.
