In the wake of Luciano Spalletti’s departure this summer, Napoli have finally named their new manager.
In an announcement on Thursday evening, the club confirmed the hiring of former Al-Nassr boss, Rudi García, who is returning to Italy.
The 59-year-old previously managed Roma from 2013 to 2016.
The Frenchman joins Napoli with a long CV, with his most successful period coming at Lille, where he won the 2011 Ligue 1 title and French manager of the season in 2011, 2013 and 2014.
With Napoli having just wrapped up their first Serie A title since 1990, García will have big shoes to fill for next season.
