Nigerian high jumper, Mike Edwards, has announced his new love, boxing, as he is set to debut as a professional boxer. He made the announcement on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday. He would be joining the Cruiserweight division of the Misfits Boxing. His debut bout would be against Jake Cornish on a yetto-be-announced date.
“Breaking News: Excited to announce my entry into the world of professional boxing! Thrilled to join the Cruiserweight division roster on @MisfitsBoxing,” he wrote.
