Chief Executive, Hyde Energy, Oladimeji Edwards, has said that mechanics are the heartbeat of Nigeria’s automotive industry.
He added that their expertise and dedication were essential for keeping Nigeria’s economy moving. He spoke on the sidelines of the company’s mechanic-oriented initiative termed: #MyMechanicMyHero” initiative, according to a statement yesterday.
He explained that the ongoing initiative was about celebrating the unsung heroes of the automotive industry, who keep the engines running and the communities moving.
He said: “We are incredibly proud of the positive impact it has on the mechanic community, and we want to thank the Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association (NATA), Lagos State, for their unwavering support.”
Chairman of the Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association, Lagos State, Comrade Moruf Egberongbe, said: “As our slogan says – ‘No NATA, No Movement’ – we are the backbone of the Nigerian economy, as we play a crucial role in keeping vehicles on the road and supporting the mobility of our nation.
