Mark Angel Comedy: Denilson Accuses Mark Of Paying Peanut To Emmanuella

The alleged founder of Mark Angel’s comedy, Denilson Igwe, has accused his colleague, Mark of earning hugely and paying stipends to him and the child actor, Emmanuella.

It would be recalled that Mark Angel’s comedy gained fame sometime in 2014 and was often portrayed by the three casts; two men and a minor.

However, in a recent interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast, Denilson Igwe claimed to have founded the group while Mark took charge of the internet appearance.

He also alleged that at some point, Mark started monetizing their social media pages and kept the earnings to himself except for stipends paid to Emmanuella monthly.

Denilson accuses Mark of ripping off the crew of Mark Angel Comedy, recounting how Mark bought a car from the earnings while claiming to have received it as a gift.

He said: “I was the one that started Mark Angel’s comedy. Mark was the elder brother of the house, he was a security in Portharcourt while I was doing camera work for a man called Ifeanyi.

“I stole his camera and in our free time, I would do those comedies. Mark created a Facebook page and I did not even know when it was monetized. Suddenly in 2014, he bought a car and he said he got it as a gift.

“I haven’t received a penny then and he’d pay Emmanuella N20K monthly. 2016 was when he gave me N50K, saying this thing no dey bring money and we were making $160,000. If you talk about him, it’s either you die or have an accident.”
