Producer and host of the popular online relationship show, Shoot Your Shot Singles (SYSS) show, Ojuolape Adeorike Ashimolowo, aka Ojubabe has asserted that her show, despite being less than six months old, has been helpful to ladies.
Said she: “I think it has been significantly helpful to both genders but to ladies, it has helped them streamline their options. SYSS show is geared towards asking vying prospects questions that will help weed out the unserious ones. There is also a 360 aspect of it where prospects will be showing us a complete turnaround of themselves which helps ladies make decisions thereafter.”
Ojubabe avowed that she has gained new insights into relationships since starting her show.
“The show has taught me a plethora of things, one of which is to never judge a book by its cover in the sense that one may appear unkempt but the minute they begin to speak, they are full of wisdom and more knowledgeable than they appear,” she said.
Speaking further, she added: “I have also become acutely conscious of the fact that not all that glitter is gold; they appear so good and well-dressed but the minute they speak you realise they have nothing to offer.”
Ojubabe further offered five nuggets of wisdom for single ladies who are searching for fulfilling relationships that would lead to marriage.
“Firstly, love yourself; secondly, be willing to compromise; thirdly, be patient, fourthly, be prayerful, and lastly be content,” she said.
