Makinde To Resume Monday After Vacation

Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has announced his return from a four-week vacation, expressing gratitude to Acting Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal, for ensuring a seamless continuation of governance.

According to a report from his deputy, the Governor thanked citizens for their prayers and well wishes during his absence, stating that he returns refreshed and ready to tackle pending decisions, particularly regarding the recent fuel price increase.

He assured the public that decisions would be made in the best interests of Oyo State citizens and the economy while looking forward to flagging off and commissioning of projects in agribusiness and tourism in October.

Without revealing too much, the Governor hinted that these projects will be something to be proud of, showcasing the state’s progress and development.

In his monthly book review, the Governor introduced “The Situation Room—The Inside Story of Presidents in Crisis” by George Stephanopoulos, promising to share his thoughts in the coming weeks.

The Governor expressed his commitment to prioritizing the welfare of Oyo State citizens, ensuring that decisions align with their best interests.
