Lamido Once Vow To Go Into Exile If Obi Got One Million Votes – Amadi

Following Peter Obi’s visit to Sule Lamido, a prominent member of the People’s Democracy Party (PDP) and former governor of Jigawa State on Monday, the Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi has said Lamido once claimed that he would go into exile should Obi of the Labour Party (LP) accumulated one million votes.

Sam Amadi made this allegations in a post shared on his verified X handle hours after Obi visit to PDP big wigs.

The former Executive Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), however, expressed satisfaction in the last development as he lauded Obi latest move.

He wrote, “Politics can be morbid; it can also be lighthearted. I toast to this friendship. I remember during the strategy session for Atiku I argued that @PeterObi should be taken seriously as he has mobilized the youths. Gov Lamido boasted that if Peter gets 1m votes he would go on exile.”
