Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, has announced the appointment of 12 new Permanent Secretaries to fill different vacancies in the state’s public service.
Announcing the development in a statement issued on Wednesdsay by the Head of Service, Mr Elijah Evinemi, Governor Ododo said the appointments which cuts across various constituencies across the state, were made to ensure equitable representation and efficient service delivery.
The Governor emphasized that the selection process was rooted in merit, fairness, and justice, establishing the importance of these values in public administration.

Evinemi congratulated the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and urged them to approach their duties with the highest standards of loyalty, dedication, and integrity.
He also noted the critical role they will play in the administration and encouraged them to meet the high expectations set before them.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries include Momoh Aziz Steven from Ajaokuta LGA, Negedu Muhammed Bala from Ankpa 1 Constituency, Haruna Jibo Muhammed from BASSA LGA, Ejigbo Akoji from Dekina-Biraidu Constituency, Enimola Enimola from Kabba-Bunu LGA, Fashoba Ayo-Sunday from Mopa-Amuro LGA, and Adurodija Ebenezer from Ogori-Magongo LGA.
Others are Enehe Dorcas Omeneke from Okehi LGA, Sanni Haruna Muhammed from Okene 1 Constituency, Ochu Philips Omeiza from Okene II Constituency, Shaibu Danjuma Fabian from Olamaboro LGA, and Baiyegunsi Taiwo from Yagba-East LGA.
