Kebbi @33: Idris Lauds Citizens’ Support, Solicits For More

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has lauded the people of the state for their unalloyed support to his administration, pleading with them to sustain the tempo for rapid development of the state.

He made this known while rejoicing with the people of the state on the attainment of 33 years of statehood. Recall that Kebbi State was created on August 27, 1991 during the reign of General Ibrahim Badamasi Babagida as military president.

The governor particularly appreciated traditional rulers in the state for their fatherly advice, support and consistent preaching for sustainable peace across the state. Governor Idris appealed to the royal fathers not to relent in their efforts at fostering unity, peace and the development of the state.

He gave kudos to previous civilian and military administrations in the state for their contributions that culminated in the growth and development of the state, “without which we wouldn’t have been where we are today.
