Kano Approves N502m For Water Pumps To Treatment Plants

The Kano State Executive Council has approved the purchase of 10 water pumps worth N502, 000,000 to the Tamburawa and Chalawa water treatment plants.

In a statement, Governor Abba Yusuf said: “The approval for the water pumps is part of our ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and public services in Kano State.

“The Tamburawa and Chalawa water treatment plants play a crucial role in providing clean water to Kano’s rapidly growing population. “The introduction of these new factory pump machines is expected to significantly boost the capacity and efficiency of these plants, ensuring a more reliable water supply for residents.

“This investment will address current challenges and meet the increasing demand for water in our communities.” The council also approved other infrastructure projects, highlighting the government’s dedication to comprehensive development throughout the state.
