Kaduna: NDLEA Drags Suspect To Court Over Possession Of Illicit Drugs

A Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna State has sentenced Williams David (27), to two years imprisonment on the charge of possession of illegal narcotics.

New Telegraph reports that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) charged David for illegal narcotics possession and he pleaded guilty to the crime, sought mercy, and promised to change his ways.

Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Mr T. J. Atserhegh, informed the court that the convicts were apprehended by NDLEA officials at around 8 p.m. on June 2 in Kinkinau, Kaduna.

He stated that 4kg of marijuana, 49.3g of tramadol, and 8g of Exol-5 were discovered in his hands.
