President Bola Tinubu is currently in a closed-door meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) at the State House in Abuja.
New Telegraph reports that the PGF was led into the meeting by its Chairman and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma.
Also at the meeting are the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) and the Kwara state Governor, AbdulRazak AbdulRahmam.
Though the agenda of the meeting has yet to be made public, there are indications that it may not be unconnected to the ongoing deliberations on how to assuage the youth to shelve their planned nationwide protests scheduled for between the 1st to 10th of August.
Others at the meeting are the reinstated Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu, Benue State Governor, Fr Hycinth Alia, Uba Sani of Kaduna State, Ebonyi State, and Francis Nwifuru amongst others.
