The Kano State Government on Tuesday filed a fresh charge against the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former governor of the state, Abdullahi Ganduje.
In a suit No. K/143c/24, the state government accused Ganduje and erstwhile Commissioner for Justice, Musa Lawan of criminal conspiracy, and misappropriation contrary to Section 308 and punishable under Section 309 of the Penal Code (as amended) CAP 105, Vol. 2, the Laws of Kano State of Nigeria.
The offence, the state government said, is punishable under Section 97 and Section 315, accusing the former governor Lawan of Abuse of office.

In the charge sheet, the state government said it intends to present four witnesses.
However, no date has been fixed for the arraignment.
