A fire outbreak has razed a departmental building at the School of Technology, Kano State Polytechnic, New Telegraph reports.
The fire, according to the emerging reports engulfed the entire Arts and Industrial Department of the polytechnic early Tuesday morning.
The Kano State Fire Service’s spokesperson, Saminu Yusif Abudullahi who confirmed the development did not disclose the cause of the fire.
However, Abdullahi stated that the details of the reported loss could not be determined immediately because the investigation was still ongoing.
He promised to deliver additional updates in due course.
