
The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) has officially confirmed the resignations of Senator Iyiola Omisore and Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the party’s National Secretary, and National Chairman respectively.
Senator Abubakar Kyari, the party’s Deputy National Chairman for the North, made the announcement on Monday after the NWC meeting on Monday at the party’s office in Abuja.
According to him, “The NWC wishes to inform you of the resignation of the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore.
“It is now incumbent on me as the Deputy National Chairman, North, and the Deputy National Secretary to assume the roles.’

Kyari noted that the National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) sessions that were set for Tuesday and Wednesday have been rescheduled.
A new date for the meetings would be announced, he added.
