Job Seekers Crash NNPC Ltd Career Portal

Numerous applications from job seekers for the vacancies announced by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) on Friday caused glitches to the application receiving job portal of the company.

This was confirmed in a statement issued by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer, NNPC Ltd, Mr. Olufemi Soneye.

He said: “Due to unprecedented traffic to the NNPC Ltd career page from applicants applying for vacancies, the site is currently experiencing slow load times.

“Our techs are working diligently to rectify the problem. Please be assured that the application process deadline remains August 20, 2024.”

NNPC Ltd had in previous statement by Soneye announced job vacancies prompting many people to apply for the job.

He said: “NNPC Ltd is pleased to announce that we are currently hiring for multiple positions across various departments. We are seeking talented and dedicated individuals to join our team. Visit out careers page for application instructions.”

The company had in a disclaimer warned that it will not be responsible for applicants who did not follow the guidelines.

It said: “NNPC Limited will not be responsible for applications submitted on any website other than its official page at https://careers.nnpcgroup.com

“NNPC Limited does not charge any fees for submission of job applications.

“Applicants’ personal data will be used for the purpose of this recruitment exercise only. Where it is discovered, at any point in this recruitment exercise, that false information has been provided, defaulting applicants will immediately be disqualified and possibly prosecuted.”
