JEDC Official Electrocuted In Plateau

On  Saturday morning, Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JEDC) experienced a terrible incident in which one of its personnel was electrocuted while making repairs in the Abbatoir area of Jos South Local Government Council of Plateau State.

The victim, simply known as Friday, was apparently performing critical repairs in the Abbatoir village when he was electrocuted by the sudden restoration of power to the high-tension pole he was working on.

Saturday Telegraph learnt that the tragic incident has left the community shocked and in mourning.

According to a local, Friday, the deceased, was known for his dedication to his job and rapid reaction to customer inquiries whenever there was a problem in his designated region.

Despite journalists’ efforts to reach the JEDC’s Public Relations Officer, Dr Elijah Adakole, no response has been received as of the time of filling this report.
