Adekoya Fatai Adedayo is a Nigerian entrepreneur and proud founder of Auspicious Properties, a real estate firm.
He is a Sterling Bank staffer turned real estate agent who helps Nigerians (home and abroad) to buy genuine properties and other related real estate investment services.
The CEO of Auspicious Properties is acclaimed to be among the most successful and accomplished real estate investors in Nigeria. His passion for adding value to humanity and to contribute towards reducing housing deficit in the country was the main drive he joined the real estate industry.
This top-selling realtor from Epe in Lagos State attended Saint Anthony’s Grammar School in Esure, Ijebu Imushin Ogun State. Adedayo is a product of the University of Lagos and bagged a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2014.
In 2015, the young Auspicious Properties boss was mobilised for the one-year mandatory National Youth Service Corps and he served at Alasi Primary School Boji Boji Owa in Ika North LGA Delta State.
According to Adedayo, he was privileged to meet different people from all over Nigeria with variant personalities, ethnicity, culture and religious beliefs.
Thei childhood of Auspicious Properties egg-head was laced with pains and unending grieving. He lost his Dad just at the age of eight years and things went from sweet to bitter. He was forced to take the baton of leadership at that tender age and fend for the family.
Adekoya Fatai Adedayo focused on the issue at hand and never let distractions overtake him. He started hawking bottle water in the streets of Ijebu to support his family and save for his academics. He also worked at a wood company in Ogbere in Ogun State.
Like the saying, “Obi will not always be a boy.” In 2007, Adedayo had to sit and think about his life. He knew that small steps in the right direction can turn out to be the biggest step of one’s life. He picked a book titled “Be All You Can Be” by John C Maxwell, and it turned out to be enough dose of motivation for him.
In 2008, the managing director
moved from Ogun State to Lagos to pursue his dream. While in Lagos, he joined ICAN ATS Class In PYE House Ltd in Owen street Jibowu Yaba. During this period, Adekayo combined schooling and working as an assistant engineer in a neighborhood construction company to make enough money for shelter and to further his tertiary education.
In early 2016, the Auspicious Properties boss kicked off his career as a Marketing Executive in Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc. In August of the same year, Adekoya Fatai joined Sterling Bank Plc. While at Sterling bank, his life started to take a new shape.
The CEO of Auspicious Properties learned about organisational structure and how it works in real life. He also met couple of persons that touched his life positively like the bank’s regional manager Madam Mena and some other banking staff including, Mr Rasak Adewale , Rita Aseku, Udeme Okon, Blessing Akogu, Tinuade Adelaja, Moyinoluwa and many more.
In 2017, Auspicious Properties proprietor decided to quit his banking job and start a new life in the real estate industry as a freelance consultant. He joined Billionaires Realtors Group through Mr. Adeola Aladeotan.
Already then, the young man was conscious of the fact that the understanding of the market and practical experience could result in the material well-being and wealth preferred the real cases to the theories from the textbooks.
Hence, he volunteered to work freely without being paid for BRG and Aspire Heigth Limited (now TriBitat) real estate so as to learn and acquire more necessary skills in the real estate industry.
According to the originator of Auspicious Properties, one of the factors that switched him from the banking industry into the real estate market is his passion for adding value to humanity and to contribute his quota towards reducing housing deficit in the Nigeria.
