Osun state government has urged beneficiaries of the projects implemented through the Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) across the state to imbibe a good maintenance culture.
The General Manager of Osun State Community and Social Development Agency, Mrs. Funmi Abokede, made the call on Wednesday while speaking at a media engagement on Programme for Result ( PforR) and Osun cares (DLI 1.4) programme implementation.
Abokede, while noting that many government infrastructure amenities such as schools, hospitals, water among others are in bad shape due to negligence, sought media support in educating residents of those communities who benefited from the projects implemented by the agency.
Speaking on the efforts of the state government in making life better for residents through social amenities, Osun CSDA GM revealed that the state government had committed about N2 billion for the completion of over 267 micro projects across the state this year.
She noted that the fund was made available by Governor Ademola Adeleke because of his interest in the development of the state.
