…Chinda, minority leader

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas on Tuesday announced principal officers of the green chamber with Hon. Julius Ihonvbere (PDP, Edo) emerging as the majority leader.

Hon. Halims Abdullahi (APC, Kogi) is the Deputy Majority leader while Hon. Bello Kumo (APC, Gombe) is the chief whip and Hon. Adewumi Onanuga (APC, Osun) is the deputy chief Whip.

Also, reading a letter from the minority parties conveying their principal officers, Abbas named Hon. Kingsley Chinda(PDP, Rivers) as the minority leader while Hon Ozodinobi George (LP, Anambra) is the deputy minority leader.

The minority whip is Hon. Ali Issa (PDP, Gombe) and Hon. Aliyu Madaki (NNPP, Kano).
