The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun on Monday, September 16, ordered the reconstruction of damaged police facilities in Borno State
Egbetokun gave the directive during his visit to Maiduguri, the state capital to assess the damage caused by the recent attacks on police facilities.
During the visit, he expressed solidarity with affected officers and citizens, pledging to ensure that the destroyed facilities are reconstructed swiftly.

Egbetokun stressed the importance of rebuilding police infrastructure to restore order and security in the region, which continues to face insurgent threats.
The IGP also assured that the police force would intensify efforts to combat insecurity and protect lives and property across Borno State.
