Ibadan residents in their large numbers yesterday stormed the Oyo State Government Secretariat at Agodi, Ibadan, protesting against the demolition of their houses as a result of the Circular Road under construction.
Many houses have been demolished to give way for the construction. The house owners, who carried placards of various inscriptions, gathered at the gate of the secretariat appealing to Governor Seyi Makinde to be lenient with them. They also demanded that the demolition of their houses should be stopped.
