The Adiukwu Royal Family of Ogbor/Umuchalu Autonomous Community in Aboh-Mbaise LGA oF Imo State has announced the glorious exit of their patriarch and traditional ruler, HRH, Eze (Engineer)Godson Chikwendu Adiukwu, Eze Chinyere 1 of Ogbor/Umuachalu Autonomous community.
He was aged 82 years. Before his ascension to the throne, Eze Adiukwu worked and retired from Michelin Nig Plc, where he rose to the position of executive director.
He was also the Vice President East of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), and a member on the board of the Oil and Gas Free Zone Authority amongst other achievements.
Eze Adiukwu’s passing is a great loss to the people of Uvuru community and Mbaise as a whole as he contributed immensely to their welfare and development.
He enjoyed tremendous respect and admiration throughout his tenure as a first class traditional ruler. Eze Godson Adiukwu will be laid to rest on 28th September 2024 after an inter- denominational church service at Ogbor Central School field Uvuru.
Interment follows immediately at his palace. He is survived by wife, many children, grand-children and a host of other relatives among who are Dr Chidozie Adiukwu and Barr. Chukwudi Adiukwu, SAN.
