Bandits gathered at the residence of the late Kachalla Halilu Sububu in Tungar Daji, Bagega, Anka Local Government of Zamfara State yesterday to elect new leaders.
It would be recalled that Security forces successfully killed Kachalla Halilu and some of his gang members recently.
Sokoto based Security Analyst, Bashiru Altine Guyawa, also revealed that the terrorists will start with a three-day prayer for the deceased Kachalla Halilu Sububu, followed by the election of a new leader to replace him.
Currently, they are displaying the money left behind by Kachalla Halilu in his house, as some money were damaged while others are getting rotten after long time storage.
According to him, the bandits have displayed over two hundred sacks containing money and they are also bringing out the gold and other precious stones the late Sububu hid in his house to share.
