Harrow Park Golf Club Abuja Hosts Etisalat Cloud Nine

In a move to promote home grown music talents and provide exclusive content to its customers, Etisalat Nigeria hosted a section of its high value customers in Abuja to a night of live performances during its unique music event, the Cloudnine sessions.

The event, which took place over the weekend at the exclusive lounge of Harrow Park Golf Club in Central Business District in Abuja, featured Mike Okri, the “Time Na Money” crooner, and one of Nigeria’s rising female R&B artistes, Niyola. Both ofdished out their popular tracks and for the first time ever, performed together to the admiration of the guests.

During his opening remarks, Strategy Director, Etisalat Nigeria, Temi Ogunbambi noted that the event creates an opportunity for Etisalat to connect with its valued customers. He said, “Our customers are at the centre of what we do so we are constantly thinking of ways to improve customer satisfaction and encourage loyalty.”

“At Etisalat Cloudnine sessions, we showcase our essence as a brand as well as provide exclusive music content to the delight of our customers”, Ogunbambi added. He further gave kudos to the event/artiste manager for the sessions Mr. Young for doing a great job.

Popular artiste manager, Toks Asher Young who was contracted by Etisalat to book artistes and also manage the event, said “working with Etisalat to bring this exclusive session to Abuja the second time is a privilege”

“I value the trust reposed in me by Etisalat to manage the performing artistes, and make this event a worthwhile experience for their customers who attended. And judging by the smiles on their faces, I believe everyone enjoyed the event”, Young reiterated.

Speaking after his performance, Mike Okri hailed the telecoms company for the novel feat. He said it was a brilliant idea for a corporate organization to provide a platform that seeks to celebrate music of old as well as promote music of the present generation. Echoing similar sentiments, Niyola expressed her delight at being part of the musical experience. She said it was an honour for her to have performed side by side with the legendary Mike Okri.

The Etisalat CloudNine was launched officially in August 2013 and so far has toured the cities of Lagos, Port-Harcourt and Abuja showcasing legendary artistes such as Shina Peters, Sir Victor Uwaifo, Bright Chimezie and breakthrough artistes including Seyi Shay, Emma Nyra and Patoranking.
