A group under the aegis Rising Up for a United Nigeria (RUN) has advised President Bola Tinubu to remain steadfast and unaltered in his vision for Nigeria, adding that greatness is within sight.
Addressing journalists yesterday in Abuja to celebrate Nigeria’s 64th Independence, Convener Solomon Adodo described Nigeria as a country with hope and great potential.
He said: “It is no strange fact that in the last one year, the nation has been plagued with diverse challenges occasioned by the withdrawal of fuel subsidy and the floating of the naira.
“But I dare say that we have been through our deepest pains. It is now time for us to sit together and harness our collective gains.
“This is not a time for us to be distracted. This is not a time for us to be instigated to riotous protests. “This is not a time for us to be spurred or to be triggered to pick up arms against the government.
“This is a time for us to bring forth our best ideas, to put on our thinking cap, to be at our inventive and innovative best in partnering with Mr. President to see how to move Nigeria forward.
“Let it be known that every nation that has made advances and gone to the front lines once passed through tethering phases of challenges like we now do. I dare say that we are no exception.
