Gov Inuwa Approves Posting Of PS, Kumo As Liquidator For Gombe Investment, Property Devt Company

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the posting of Mohammed Bello Abubakar Kumo, Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Head of Civil Service, to the Gombe State Investment and Property Development Company (GSIPDC).

The Head of Civil Service, Ahmed Kasimu Abdullahi, who conveyed the Governor’s approval, stated that Abubakar Kumo is to serve as Sole Administrator/ Liquidator of the company.

This is further to the ongoing restructuring process approved by the state executive council, aimed at winding down the GSIPDC, streamlining operations and strengthening the state’s investment sector with the Investment Promotion Agency playing a pivotal role.

The new Sole Administrator is expected to bring to bear, his wealth of experience and expertise to his new role, in order to ensure a smooth transition and drive restructuring process that will create a more robust and competitive investment environment for the overall development of the state.
