Baring the last minutes change, Manchester United are plotting a move for Benfica striker, Goncalo Ramos this summer, according to The Mirror.
The Portuguese giants are said to value the 21-year-old at nearly £100 million, with talks set to take place with the Red Devils over a potential transfer.
Erik Ten Hag is thought to be keen on adding future stars to his squad and has marked the Portuguese as a talented prospect and a long-term investment.
Ramos is thriving in Lisbon this season, scoring 17 league goals and helping Benfica reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League before eventually being knocked out by Inter Milan.
It should be recalled that the seven-cap international made his Portugal debut in Qatar and took center stage when he scored a hat-trick against Switzerland after replacing Cristiano Ronaldo in the starting XI.
Ramos is currently enduring his longest spell of the 2022-23 campaign without scoring (five games), having previously not gone more than three matches without a goal for the league leaders.
But with two weeks to go in the current campaign, he looks set to become a domestic champion with the Eagles which may prompt United into bidding for the Olhao before the transfer window officially opens to avoid a bidding war.
