Ganduje
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has revealed that the party will adopt the strategies employed in the Edo State governorship election to secure victory in its forthcoming elections in Ondo State and South East.
Speaking during a celebration of Senator Monday Okpebholo’s victory with members of the Edo State election situation room on Monday in Abuja, Ganduje said the APC is committed to expanding its influence in the Southeast, including Anambra, which is currently controlled by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
The former governor of Kano State stated that the party aims to replicate its successful template from Edo to win future elections in the region.

“We have started working to develop strategies to win these states. Next year, Anambra state will follow. Let me remind you that we have a project which we named the political de-marginalisation of the South East geo-political zone,” Ganduje said.
He further urged party leaders at all levels to intensify efforts towards achieving the APC’s objectives, stressing that a party as large as the APC should be fully in control of the South East.
According to Ganduje, the APC currently governs two states in the Southeast but is determined to increase that number, calling it a crucial task that must be fulfilled.
He emphasized that the APC’s ultimate goal is to recover as many states in the region as possible for the party.
