Ganduje Dollar Clip: Kano Anti Corruption Commission Makes Headway In Investigation

The Kano Public Complaints and Anti Corruption Commission, has significantly made an Inroads into the reopening Investigation of the Former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje Dollar Video Clip case, says the Chairman of the Commission, Barrister Muhyi Magaji Rimin Gado.

The Commission Chairman told Media, Tuesday, that they have since invited some Forensic Experts who are coming to carefully restudy the Video Clip and promised that soon Nigerians would know what is happening.

Barrister Muhyi reminded that the issues at stake are very interesting to the People of Kano, and as such the Commission is under Oath to get to the root of the matter.

The Chairman who insisted that the Commission has the required legal mandate to get to the root of the matter of the Ganduje Dollar Video Clip controversy, further described narrations that there is a Court case to that effect as something that does not in any way affect their Investigation.

He assured that the Commission was not in any way trying to blackmail anybody but doing the biddings of the Kano and generally Nigeria People who want to know actually what’s happened.

Speaking on the arrest of Ganduje Commissioner for Works over alleged N1 Billion 30 Roads Maintenance fraud, Barrister Muhyi, explained that the money was removed under a uniliteral directive while the Job was not done.

Muhyi said already the Commissioner and two other people are in their Custody and they are taking them to Court after Investigation.
