Former Daily Times Editor,  Aderinola, loses mother in-law, Madam Oresusi

Mrs Josephine Adebukunola Oresusi, (alias Mama Coates), has passed. She was aged 99 years.

Madam Oresusi was, at various times, a sewing mistress, textile dealer at the Gota market of old on Lagos Island and a distributor at John Holt.

Mama Oresusi, a dual citizen of Nigeria and the United States of America, was a staunch member of the Christ Apostolic Church.

A ranking member of the Church said of her: “Mama was a caring woman who was imbued with intense motherly love and the spirit of steadfastness, thirst  and hunger for God and holiness”.

She is survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, among whom is Funso, wife of United States-based former editor of the Daily Times, Mr Dapo Aderinola.
