Football Academy Targets Great Impact At DSA U-18 Tourney

Seamoriow Football Academy has set its sights on creating an impact in the maiden edition of the Digital Scouting Africa U-18 championship.

The competition scheduled to kick off at the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, between May 23 and 26 will see eight junior teams fighting for honour with Seamoriow FA also part of the tournament.

Seamoriow, drawn in Group A will be up against MKA International FC, Superstars United and Africa’s Elite FC (North).

The first game of the four-day competition will see Seamoriow taking on MKA International FC by 8.00 am on Thursday, May 23, and will be targeting a win to make their quest for emerging champion a lot easier.

Speaking with journalists, the Head of Youth, Seamoriow, Olanrewaju Olojo-Kosoko, said his boys are ready for the championship.

“We have been preparing for the competition and I am looking forward to a win in the first game. The opening match is very vital for our quest and as the coach with other members of the technical crew, we have put the boys in the best shape for a win on Thursday.

“We are not going to underrate our opponent because this is a developmental tournament and we all must be ready for whatever outcome,” he said.

Other games scheduled for the opening day will see Africa’s Elite FC (South) facing Cyan FC, Superstars United against Africa’s Elite FC (North) and D-Shack up against Samjason FC.
