The First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu has Condoled with the governors of Bauchi State, Sen. Bala Muhammed and his Sokoto State counterpart, Ahmed Aliyu on the recent occurrences in their States.

The statement she personally signed read in part: “The boat mishap which claimed lives in Sokoto and the flooding incident which happened in Bauchi State where lives were also lost and property destroyed are very unfortunate.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones and properties, as well as those who have been displaced.

“May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace and May God comfort the affected families and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
