The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has issued an official statement against the widespread online ridicule surrounding a viral testimony, firmly denying the fabrication of any testimonies.
Pastor Chidi Louis, Head of Public Relations and Media of the church who spoke on Tuesday addressed the circulating allegations after a video featuring a church member was taken out of context and manipulated.
In the viral clip, a woman recounted a testimony where she claimed to have disarmed four armed robbers, allegedly seizing an “AK-27.”
The misrepresentation of her testimony drew significant attention, prompting both derision and confusion across social media platforms.

However, Pastor Louis clarified that the testimony in question occurred within a dream, not in real life, and emphasized that the viral version of the clip was heavily edited to create a false narrative.
“Nigerians should disregard the fake video and visit our church platform to listen to the complete testimony for better understanding.
“The woman’s story occurred in a dream, not in reality,” Louis urged, warning the public not to trust every video they encounter on the internet.
He cautioned against falling victim to online manipulation, adding, “Bloggers often edit content to ridicule the work of God. Most of these bloggers are wicked and devilish.”
The church’s media department further denounced the manipulated clip on its platform and released the full testimony on their TikTok handle.
In this complete version, the woman’s dream was clarified in detail.
The pastor also made a correction during the testimony when the woman mistakenly referred to the firearm as an “AK-27,” with the pastor clarifying that it was an “AK-47.”
The Lord’s Chosen church urged the public to approach such material with caution and not to engage in the distortion of testimonies intended to showcase faith and spiritual experiences.
