Popular Nigerian actresses who have been at loggerheads for years, Lizzy Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo have finally settled their beef.
New Telegraph recalls that Iyabo Ojo sued Lizzy Anjorin for defamation, claiming N500 million in damages after their social media feud got out of hand.
Days after the announcement on social media, court notices were pasted at the entrance of the residence of Lizzy in February 2024 as a result of her absence from the initial court appearance.
Recently, the case’s presiding judge assumed the role of mediator and was able to bring the two actresses together.

Speaking on their reconciliation, Iyabo said the judge gave both women motherly counsel, telling them to put an end to their arguments and derogatory remarks about one another on social media and to embrace peace instead.
Both actresses could be seen smiling as they leave the court together in a video that has gone viral.
Iyabo was approached by Lizzy’s husband, who symbolically hugged her to signify the restored harmony.
