Aderinoye Queen Christmas, populary known as Queen Oluwadamilola Aderinoye, a former beauty queen and the founder of the Queen Christmas Foundation, has surrendered to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) after spending nearly eight months in hiding.
It would be recalled that the NDLEA declared Aderinoye wanted in January 2024 following a raid on her residence in the Lekki area of Lagos that linked her to illicit drug activities.
The NDLEA’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, announced in a statement issued on Sunday, September 1, 2024, that Aderinoye voluntarily turned herself in to the Lagos State Command on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
According to him, after escaping the January raid, she had reportedly been hiding in Akure, Ondo State.

During the initial raid on her Lekki home, NDLEA operatives, with the presence of estate representatives, recovered 606 grams of Canadian Loud (a potent synthetic strain of cannabis), an electronic weighing scale, a large quantity of drug packaging materials, and a black RAV 4 SUV with Lagos license plates, among other items.
In a related crackdown, NDLEA officers seized a total of 1,122 kilograms of cannabis from a suspect named Mustapha Ibrahim along Orchid Road in Ajah, Lagos, on Monday, August 26.
An additional 816 kilograms of cannabis, belonging to another suspect who remains at large, was also recovered from the same location.
Responding to these developments, NDLEA Chairman and CEO Brig.-Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd) commended the agency’s officers for their vigilance and dedication.
He praised their ongoing efforts in both reducing drug demand and disrupting drug supply across the country.
