According to a release by the firm, the agreement, formalised in Beijing on September 2, 2024, aims to establish a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility in Nigeria, specifically targeting the provision of healthcare for HIV positive persons, and the production of related products for the African market.

The signing ceremony, attended by Fidson’s founder and Managing Director, Dr. Fidelis Ayebae, and a highlevel Nigerian delegation, represents a significant step in enhancing Africa’s self-reliance in critical healthcare areas.

Dr. Ayebae was joined by Dr. Babatunde Ipaye and Mr. Oshoke Ayebae, both instrumental in facilitating the partnership.
