Former Rangers International football player, Kenneth Abana, popularly known as Magic is dead.
Abana reportedly died in his country home, Nri in the Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State at the age of 75 after a protracted illness.
It would be recalled that Abana had been bedridden as a result of acute arthritis and confined to a wheelchair for over five years.

The deceased wife, Mrs. Gertrude Abana narrated that Abana’s health issues started in 2022 after he suffered what was later diagnosed to be a stroke.
She said Abana was rushed to the General Hospital, Enugu-Ukwu, but the doctors on duty could not manage him until they were referred to the specialist hospital.
She said that her husband had undergone a series of tests which showed that it was a case of stroke.
Uche Okafor, a neurosurgeon at the hospital confirmed that Abana was hit by a partial stroke and however, said that the case was manageable and needed progressive management for him to recover.
Magic had battled a debilitating ailment which made him unable to move his lower limb and confined him to his chair on the upper floor of his one-storey building in Nri town.
Abana had earlier received a wheelchair donated by Arthur Ebonam and Sen. Stella Oduahwhich was delivered by Odi Ikoeazh.
Also, he sought assistance for medical treatment some two years ago and later had one of his legs amputated at Eldorado Hospital, after which he recorded a significant recovery before the news of his death in the early hours of Sunday.
