Former Minister of Youth and Sports Development and Sarkin Wasanni of Daura, Chief Sunday Dare has commiserated with the government and people of Katsina State over the demise of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Yusuf Umar Nalado.
The Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland noted that the deceased who served on the Board of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) made invaluable contributions to the growth and progress of NYSC during his stint.
Acknowledging the outstanding and exemplary leadership qualities of the late politician, Dare urged the Nalado family to uphold the remarkable deeds of the late activist.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the former Minister stressed that the deceased was a committed progressive with a passion for community service and credible leadership.
He said, ” I received with shock the news of the passing of a former Member of the Board of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Alhaji Yusuf Umar Nalado.
“He was humble, selfless, and committed to the service of humanity.
“Through various platforms, he made remarkable contributions to the success of our great party, APC especially in his home state, Katsina.
“Our prayers and thoughts are with the Nalado family during this period of grief”.
The former Minister prayed to Allah to make Al- Jannah Firdaus the final abode for the late politician.
Dare also conveyed his sincere condolences to the Daura Emirate Council under the leadership of the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouk Umar, the Sarkin Sudan of Daura, Alhaji Yusuf Nalado, and members of his family.
