Even if Manchester City wins the Premier League for the fourth time in a row on Sunday, the club manager, Pep Guardiola has revealed he will remain with the team for the upcoming season.

Guardiola will win his sixth title in eight years if City defeats West Ham on the final day.

The former manager of Barcelona and Bayern Munich is reported to be leaving this summer.

But he told a press conference: “I have a contract, I want to be here next season whatever happens.”

Arriving in England in 2016, Guardiola also shot down the notion that no other team can win the league while he is in charge.

He added: “Wrong. The margins, if we win every season by 20 points, I’d say I’m a genius.

“The Premier Leagues we won against Liverpool, they could have won. Arsenal could have won.”
