Occupied Old Airport Road Jos in continuation of Protest and praying to God.

Despite President Bola Tinubu’s national broadcast on Sunday, the protesters reconvened at the old airport roundabout in Jos, Plateau State, where they said prayers for the revival of the country.

The protest was peaceful, with demonstrators carrying placards and chanting slogans calling for change.

It would be recalled that hundreds of Plateau citizens, especially youths, occupied the old Airport Junction roundabout Jos on Thursday to protest against bad governance and the high cost of living.

The protesters demanded that the president address the rising inflation, food insecurity, and other socio-economic challenges facing the nation.

However, an Apostle of Garden of Claims Ministry, Joshua’s Habila Jos who was the guest preacher at the protest, emphasized that bad leaders should give Nigeria a chance to grow.

He urged the government to listen to the cries of the people and take concrete steps to address their grievances.

The protests in Jos were part of a nationwide movement, with similar demonstrations taking place in other cities across Nigeria.

The protesters are demanding an end to bad governance, corruption, and economic mismanagement.

The president’s address on Sunday was an attempt to calm the nerves of Nigerians.

The situation in Nigeria is dire, with millions of people struggling to make ends meet.

The protests are a cry for help, and the government must listen and act decisively to address the crisis”; remarked a protester who pleaded anonymity.

New Telegraph report that since the inception of the protest in Plateau it has been peaceful as there were no destruction neither lost of lives.
