Social crusader Donald Nwaneri has urged President Bola Tinubu to free #EndBadGovernance protesters. Nwaneri demanded that government drop the charges against them.

He said only 10 detained protesters were arraigned at an Abuja High Court, one month after their arrest, noting that Chukwudi Opara, an Abuja businessman and several others are still languishing in detention.

According to him, Opara’s family has been subjected to unspeakable and horrifying molestation and trauma ever since he was arrested.

Nwaneri said: “The wife, Mrs Eucharia Obianuju Opara, a fashion designer also based in Abuja, who recently put to bed, has been forced to abandon her residence and shop because of serial commandostyle raids by police who claimed that her fashion shop designed the Russian flag used by protesters in parts of the North.”
