Emirship Tussle: Police Assures Adequate Security In Kano

The residents of Kano State have been reassured by the State Police Command of maximum security against the rivalry of the Kano Emirate.

The State Command made this known in a statement made available to New Telegraph on Monday by the Police Commissioner, CP Usaini Gumel in Kano.

“We are battle-ready to deal with any person or group of people tampering with the peaceful atmosphere our state is known for.

“We have the ability and capacity to provide required security measures in our areas of supervision.


“The police will not condone any act that can lead to chaos or violence in Kano State.

“Adequate security personnel have been deployed to arrest anyone who attempts to disrupt the peace or break the law in the state,” Gumel said.
