The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Director of Public Affairs, Wilson Uwujaren, has urged EFCC-NYSC Community Development Service (CDS) group to strengthen anti-corruption efforts nationwide.
The anti-graft agency made this appeal during a meeting with the EFCC-NYSC CDS Group at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
Uwujaren praised the group’s efforts, emphasizing their crucial role as the Commission’s mouthpiece in the public.

He further tasked Corps members to familiarize themselves with EFCC’s mandate, focusing on investigation, prosecution, and public sensitization.
He stressed the importance of upholding integrity and transparency, assuring the group of EFCC’s support and resources.
Aisha Muhammed, Head of Enlightenment and Reorientation Unit also highlighted advocacy’s key role in EFCC’s work.
Muhammed emphasized the group’s responsibility to educate the public about corruption’s dangers.
The EFCC-NYSC CDS Group President, Abidemi Akinwande reaffirmed the group’s commitment to supporting EFCC’s mandate.
She noted the group’s plans to take anti-corruption campaigns to marketplaces, motor parks, and rural communities.
