EFCC Chairman Vows To Follow Yahaya Bello’s Prosecution To Conclusion

Ola Olukoyede, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday vowed to see the prosecution of former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello to a logical conclusion.

Speaking with newsmen at the EFCC Headquarters in Abuja, the anti-graft agency chair assured that all those who impeded the former governor’s arrest would be held accountable.


According to him, no matter what anyone does or how many attacks are launched against the anti-graft agency, he and his men will continue to assist sanitize the country.

The EFCC Chairman, however, urged Nigerians that the commission needs the support of all to succeed, emphasizing that if the agency fails, Nigeria fails.

He claimed that the current efforts have increased the value of the Naira and the foreign market.
